Brier Creek Commons is an open-air shopping center, with both large and small local goodies stores. It also has a full array of restaurants from fast food to wonderfully higher end restaurants like the exotic Brasa Brazilian Steakhouse.
Barnes & Noble, BJ's Wholesale Club, Dick's Sporting Goods, HomeGoods, Michael's Arts & Crafts, PETSMART, Ross, Target, and T.J. Maxx are the bigger names - there are about 80 stores and businesses all together. It's very easy to spend the entire day. (Assuming that your wallet or purse will last an entire day!)
Besides shopping, the Brier Creek Movie Theater is perfect for a movie and for dessert after Maggie Moo's Ice Cream & Treatery yummy.
The Christmas season is especially fun. it's lighted up like everywhere else but there is actually a horse and carriage ride around the block. Shades of a 1940's movie! "Sleigh bells ring...are you listening?" It's something that just makes you feel warm all over.
It's a truly marvelous place all year, even without the horse, the carriage, or the lights.
