What Do I Bring To Closing?

Cashier's Check
You'll need to have a cashier's check or money order, in the amount indicated by your Lender. You can't use a personal check or cash.

Identification
Each buyer will need a form of picture identification. You can use a driver's license, a state identification card, and a current Passport.

Some lenders may require a Social Security card - check with your Raleigh Realtor.

Lender's Requirements
Make sure you've taken care of all of your lender's requirements before the closing. Your agent should call you a couple days before closing to make sure it's all done!

Fire and Hazard Insurance
Make sure you've ordered your Raleigh Home Insurance Policy. The closing attorney will contact your insurance company for a "Binder."

Your property insurance may be paid at closing. We can give you a referral for a local insurance company if you need one.

Alien Identification Requirements
If you're not a U. S. citizen please bring an Alien Resident Card and a State identification card.
