Lochmere Golf Course
Lochmere is an 18-hole, semi-private course designed by Gene Hamm. It has 6,627 yards from the back tees and a par of 71.
The Lochmere Golf Course was opened in 1985
The fairways are tight and tree-lined so as to provide a challenge for accuracy and control. There are an abundance of water obstacles throughout this beautiful course.
Lochmere has a peaceful feel to it. Homes in Lochmere has a variety of recreational activities such as pools, tennis courts, fishing docks, volleyball courts, 2 lakes, walking trails, and a semi-private golf course.
Lochmere subdivision was built in the 1980's through 1990's. It was popular when it was first built and continues to be a highly desired Cary neighborhood today.
Other Cary Golf communities are include MacGregor Downs and Preston to the Northwest.
Driving Directions: From Raleigh, take I-440 W/US-1 S Continuing on US-1 S; Take exit 98A to merge onto Knightdale Bypass E/Tryon Rd; Continue to follow Tryon Rd; make a a sharp right at Kildaire Farm Rd; Turn left at W Lochmere Dr into Lochmere. Map
