Caffé Luna is a Downtown Raleigh Italian restaurant that serves very good Italian food at a very reasonable price in a lovely setting.

This restaurant is lovely. It has a beautiful main dining room plus three private rooms that are filled with artwork. Because of this design and the great catering available, Caffe Luna is also a favorite restaurant in downtown Raleigh for wedding receptions and private functions.

The food is good Tuscan food and is a great value for lunch and dinner. The portions are large and reasonably priced.

The wait staff is very attentive and friendly. If you go with their recommendation you really can't go wrong.

Both the lunch and dinner menus are pretty awesome. The rigatoni with chicken and spinach is delish and so is the Penne Cappesante with its wonderful scallops, spinach and garlic.

Caffe Luna is a great place to go before attending the symphony or theater. They have a free theater shuttle that is super convenient. Be sure and get reservations for around 6:00 and let them know you want the shuttle.

Caffe Luna is a beautiful little jewel in the Raleigh downtown restaurant scene. Great food, good value, and a beautiful romantic feel.

Driving Directions: Caffe Luna is located at 136 E Hargett. Exit I-440 at Capital Blvd. Go south towards downtown. Turn left onto Morgan Street, which is the next light after you cross Hillsborough Street. Continue on Morgan Street approximately four blocks until you reach Blount Street. Turn right onto Blount and continue one block to Caffe Luna on the corner of Blount and Hargett Streets.
