Raleigh Termite Inspections - Buyer Viewpoint

A Raleigh Termite Inspection should be done on any Raleigh home you are considering purchasing. One way to think about termites in Raleigh is: You will either have them or you will get them.

The North Carolina Offer to Purchase and Contract includes an inspection period, usually about 10 days from the time the contract is signed by both buyer and seller. This inspection period is when a Termite Inspection is done along with any other inspections you are doing on your new Raleigh home.

As Raleigh Realtors we work with Termite inspectors in Raleigh all the time and we can offer several recommendations for you.

We try to schedule the Termite Inspection at the same time as the home inspection. This allows us all to at be at the home one time and we don't have to keep coming back for each inspection.

We recommend that you follow the Termite Inspector around the home during the inspection. Feel free to ask the inspector any questions you may have.

Your Raleigh Termite inspector will find any problems and explain them to you. They will explain what things are needed to keep the house free of termites and other wood destroying insects.

You will receive a Termite Inspection Report within a couple of days. It will identify any areas of concern noted during the inspection. If there is any evidence of Termite activity we then ask for the eradication to be done when we submit our repair request to the sellers.

Remember the importance of a Raleigh Termite Inspection and having it scheduled during the inspection period.

Other inspections that are commonly done are Raleigh Home Inspections and Raleigh Radon Inspections. If there is a septic system a Raleigh Septic Inspection may be completed.
