Amedeo's North is a warm, comfortable, traditional family Italian Restaurant in North Raleigh. Amedeo's is a Raleigh Restaurant that has stood the test of time. For 50 years Amedeo's has been giving Raleigh the best Italian food on the planet (except perhaps for Italy itself).
I love to walk in and smell that wonderful Italian cooking aroma - the spices, the sauce, the cheese, all the good stuff. For me, it is the Eggplant Parmigiana. Ed goes straight for the spaghetti and meatballs. It's Italian comfort food at its best. Pizzas are always fresh and perfect! Amedeo's North has a broad Italian menu that has it all and it is all really good food!
The atmosphere is casually nice. The kids can pile in after a soccer game and eat pizza till they pop. You can have a great business lunch with clients, have a relaxing dinner after work, or stop by the bar to have antipasta and cold beer.
The people are very sincere here - we like that. Rick comes and visit with you - you are his customer and he appreciates you. Diana is a wonderful server and she listens and watches - which is neat. If you are deep in conversation she waits for the pause to ask you if you are ready or need another 10 minutes before your meal comes out.
When you want to eat great Italian food, feel relaxed, and be treated well, come to Amedeo's North. You will come back!
Oh, by the way, don't forget to pick up a jar of Rick's homemade sauce. In Italian cooking - sauce is King - and Rick's is the best. Take some home and make the magic happen in your own kitchen!
