• Raleigh Closed Sales: November sales took a little dip and were down 2.2% over last November's sales.

• Average Raleigh Sales Price: November had an average sales price of $299,590. That's up over 20% over last year.

• Days On Market: The average days on market before a sale is at 48. That's down 20% from last November!

• Raleigh Active Listings: The total active listings continues to be low. Listings are down over 13% from last year. The number of homes for sale in November stand at 3,832 in Wake County.

Warm weather keeps people out looking for that home for the Holidays.

Real Estate in Raleigh is doing fantastic and this year is the best year since the recession. Showings are up - people are out there looking at houses in this great mild weather. We see the housing demand as strong, and we expect this year to close out as a banner year.

Home sales seemed a tiny bit soft in November this year. Don't know why, just acted like it wanted to take a little breather. However, the average sale price was up over 20% from last year at this time.

The race between listing and days on market continues downward with fewer homes, the good ones are going faster even in our winter season. It's easy to see their hand-in-hand progression.

We continue to expect this Fall/Winter to be stronger than last year. We are well ahead of our last year's production with another month of activity still to go before the end of the year. Home sales are set to have their best showing (both nationally and in Raleigh) since 2006. More of the same is anticipated in 2016.
